The List of Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in 2012 was published by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China on July 17th, on which the Pharmaceutical sector of Fosun Pharma ranked the 25th among the nationwide peers based on the overall ranking of sales revenue of their main business in 2012. Other famous pharmaceutical enterprises on the List included Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group, Bayer Healthcare and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group.

As the core of business development and after years of M&A integration, R&D and marketing promotion, the Pharmaceutical sector of Fosun Pharma covers the therapeutic areas of metabolism and gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, anti-tumor and immune regulation, nervous system and anti-infection, with respective key products that lead the market. Currently the Company has thirteen products with their sales revenue exceeding 100 million. Ranking of the List of Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in 2012 was based on the overall ranking of sales revenue of main business of China’s pharmaceutical enterprises in 2012, following the recognized official data source - Annual Report of Chinese Medical Statistics. During the evaluation, MIIT for the first time required the legally effective audit reports from the finalists to prove their pharmaceutical data as the basis of evaluation.
