Fosun Pharma deeply involved in the Rural Doctor Project, actively supported and protected rural doctors, empowered the construction of rural medical system, promoted rural revitalization, and improved the livelihood of rural citizens. .As at the end of 2023, the project covered 78 key counties receiving assistance in 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions, with 366 person head dispatched to station in counties receiving assistance in aggregate,thereby protecting 24,000 rural doctors and benefitting 3 million rural families. In 2023, the “Hand in Hand” Rural Medical Talent Revitalization Plan focused on the integration of Chinese and western medicine. Through online “Doctors’ Lectures” and offline “Famous Doctors Visiting Rural Areas” campaigns, this plan gathered famous domestic medical experts in Chinese and western medicine to visit remote rural areas and commenced targeted medical assistance. By exporting medical technologies and integrating Chinese and western medicine, we practically assisted rural doctors to improve their diagnosis skills.
On 19 October 2023, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital and Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital, both subsidiaries of the Company, were granted the title of “Healthy and Heart-Warming Rural Doctor Training Base”.As at the end of the Reporting Period, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital has successfully conducted three sessions of rural doctor training class. During the training, the lecturers provided customized learning program for rural doctors, making them able to apply what they have learned and provide better medical services for grassroots

On 16 September 2023, Fosun Pharma and Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation jointly launched the “Pink Blue Ribbon Charity Program” at Xishuangbanna Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Yunnan. Designed to expand the screening coverage for two primary cancers among women in Xishuangbanna and boost the primary medical level, the program offered free breast and cervical cancer screening services for more than 16,000 women in Xishuangbanna. National well-known medical experts were invited to provide free consultation, training, tutoring and instructions in the locality. Meanwhile, we donated our intelligent screening solution for the two cancers to improve local medical accessibility. Fosun Pharma also plans to provide free opportunities for local doctors to study in Grade A tertiary hospitals in Shanghai and Foshan, thus effectively improving the diagnosis and treatment capabilities of doctors in Xishuangbanna.
Fosun Pharma hopes to leverage its strengths to safeguard women's health. Meantime, it will better support Shanghai-Yunnan cooperation, opening a new chapter of public welfare cooperation between Shanghai and Xishuangbanna.

On February 22, 2024, Han Li Kang^®, the first biosimilar product in China independently developed by Fosun Pharma, celebrates its fifth anniversary of coming to the market. Adhering to the mission of contributing to society, over the past five years, Fosun Pharma Health Care Initiative has worked together with the Fosun Foundation and external partners to continuously carry out public welfare activities, bringing hope of accessibility and curability to lymphoma patients.

The “Give Time to Life” Public Welfare Project for Cancer Patients was jointly initiated by Shanghai Henlius, the Cancer Rehabilitation Society of the Chinese Anti-cancer Association, the Shanghai Cancer Recovery Club and Fosun Foundation. This project commenced in 2022, and successively organized in Shanghai, Kunming of Yunnan, Xi'an of Shaanxi and Tianjin by the end of 2023. The project expressed its care on the physical and mental health of patients and delivered positive anti-cancer attitude to patients through mindfulness meditation, psychological counseling, patient art exhibition and other means. At the same time, the project also encourages the community to give more love and support to cancer patients, improves quality of life of patients in practical ways, and helps them to return to society as soon as possible.

On April 25, 2023, starting from Guilin, China, more than 1,600 employees from Fosun family companied in Cote d 'Ivoire, Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique, Angola, India, the United States and more than 20 countries around the world, together with external stakeholders, participated in Run for “TOGETHER WE BUILD A MALARIA-FREE. WORLD” charity campaign.

In 2022, Fosun Pharma continued to implement the “Future Star Program”, and set up scholarships and teaching assistantship in School of Life Sciences Fudan University, China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Xuzhou Medical University. Over the past year, the program has motivated more than 150 excellent students and teachers, in order to encourage students excellent in character and learning to seek medical knowledge and encourage teachers to be devoted to scientific research and cultivation of social talents. The cooperation in university- enterprise scholarship deepened the communication and interaction between Fosun Pharma and universities, and the cooperation in talent cultivation and provision.

Since 2016, a team of Breas employees has been annually organising a charity walk event for patients suffering from motor neuron disease – a 100km challenge along the River Thames. To date, the annual event has helped to raise a total of US$62,500 for charity, and the proceeds have all gone to the ALS Association's academic research and efforts to find a cure.

In November 2019, Gland Pharma launched a Free Breakfast Scheme for children of Government Schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Till now, nearly 7100 children of 58 schools are being covered. Gland Pharma provides financial support for the Scheme, while Akshaya Patra prepares and supplies healthy and hygienic meals from its community kitchens.
